ENVIRONMENT MATTERS

We support worldwide efforts to improve forest management, such as the development of credible timber certification schemes. We recognise that the independent certification of forests and the creation of the Chain of Custody (ie. certification identifying timber from forest through to retailer) is the most beneficial route to assuring our customers that the timber to which it relates comes from legal and well managed forests.

We hold certificates for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) which show our commitment to the policies they represent.
