We recognise that the independent certification of forests and the creation of the Chain of Custody (ie. certification identifying timber from forest through to retailer) is the most beneficial route to assuring our customers that the timber to which it relates comes from legal and well managed forests.

- Wood harvested from forest areas where traditional or civil rights are violated.
- Wood harvested from non FSC & PEFS-certified forest areas having high conservation values, which are threatened.
- Wood harvested from genetically modified (GM) trees or illegally harvested trees.
- Natural forest that has been converted to plantations or non-forest use.
- Communicating the company environmental policy to all employees and stakeholders.
