Plywood

Plywood has many uses and so there are many types on the market. We keep the most common sizes as stock but are happy to order in special products by the sheet where available. We can offer softwood structural ply and a hardwood throughout paint grade faced ply. We also have a small stock of Marine ply. Sizes: 2440 x 1220mm. Thickness 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, 25mm. Cutting service available on this product.

MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard)

MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is an engineered wood fibre board made by mixing the fibres with a resin compound then compacting using heat and pressure. The result is a strong versatile board that can be cut and moulded making it very useful. Available as Standard and Moisture Resistant. Sizes 2440 x 1220mm. Thickness 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 22mm, 25mm. Cutting service available on this product.

We also have 9 x 2440 x 1220mm white primed Bead & Butt effect MDF.

Hardboard

Hardboard is extremely dense and therefore very strong. Suitable for furniture backing and temporary protection. It is dark brown in colour but the large sheets are also available in a white faced version. Size: 2440 x 1220mm and 1220 x 610mm. Thickness 3.2mm Cutting service available on this product.

We also have 75 x 1220mm and 100 x 1220mm Hardboard strips ready cut.

Flooring Grade Chipboard

This chipboard is P5 grade and moisture resistant. Commonly used as flooring it is tongued and grooved on all four edges. Size: 2400 x 600mm. Thickness 18mm, 22mm. The 22mm is also available with protective film.

OSB (Oriented Strand Board)

Also known as Sterling board this engineered board is strong and often used as a cheaper alternative to plywood. Size: 2440 x 1220mm. Thickness 9mm, 11mm, 18mm. Cutting service available on this product.

The 18mm is also available as a 2400 x 590mm tongue & grooved.
